WD-ringen
WD-ringen zijn radiaalafdichtingen voor roterende assen (bijvoorbeeld in centrifugaalpompen).
De WD-ringen zijn geschikt om te functioneren in combinatie met zeer agressieve media.
Daarnaast kunnen ze druk verdragen.
Tevens zijn ze bestand tegen hoge temperaturen en beschikken over een grote slijtweerstand.
De lip van de WD-ringen is gemaakt van een PTFE-compound en kan door de goede glij-eigenschappen gebruikt worden bij snelheden van meer dan 10 m/s.
Door de vormgeving van de lip heeft de ring, als deze is ingebouwd een zodanige voorspanning dat een veer overbodig is.

Materiaal
Als er maar weinig plaats is voor de afdichtingen kunnen wij ook de speciale as-afdichtingslip WD 12 leveren, die u zelf kunt inbouwen.
